These warm Aboriginal patterned fabrics invites your soul home. Crawling beneath this quilt each night is like a daily 'walkabout.' When you gather yourself into bed at the end of your working day the interactions with the world are replayed. Often you will reflect, even if just for a moment on how our words affected another person. Perhaps you even reflect on your successes or possible improvements on the next go around. Although our public life is spent with others the end of the day accounting is between ourselves and our higher power.

This quilt has over 2036 pieces. The piano keys and checkerboard pattern on the border make up nearly 1270 pieces! The inner brown and yellow sashing was created to offset the beauty of each block as well as to define the business of daily routine from the stretches of break time we take to refresh our souls. The oustside border, often called Piano Keys alludes to the music that beats within us. Holistically this piece is symbolic of our day; the varied directions a day can take us and the rhythm we try to follow, and the stars we sleep under at night.
